(20SA)

        Topics include:

Ø       Exploring Mathematics Using Technology
Ø       Technical Communication
Ø       Linear Models and Patterns
Ø       2D/3D Geometry
Ø       Relations and Functions
Ø       Coordinate Geometry
Ø       Measurement Technology
Ø       Trigonometry
Ø       Data Management and Analysis

This course has similar topics to 20SP; however, the presentation is different.  It has more of a technology base rather than theory.

It is again recommended that students have a minimum of 65% from Senior 1 math before taking this course.


Students enrolled in 20SA can expect:

ü       Daily homework
ü       Projects (group and individual)
ü       Consistent use of a graphing calculator (strongly recommended that students purchase their own)
To be taught from a different approach – a graphical and technological one.
